Vacuum cleaners belts come in various styles, designs and even in great number of models. Popular brands and models such as Oreck xl vacuum cleaner and the Dyson DC15 vacuum cleaner definitely has great belt parts.

Normally, these cleaning machine parts are meant to drive its agitation part, which is called a brush roller. Most models actually utilize any of the three types of belts, the round type, the flat and the geared style.

Definitely, it can be said that vacuum cleaners belts are very important part of your cleaning machine – therefore you must get your machine with the kind of belt that is not only durable and strong but also an excellent performer. The type of material as well as condition of your cleaner’s belt has a great weight on how the overall performance of the machine is, particularly on its capacity to clean your carpets.

The earliest type is the round type – they are very easy to manufacture as well as engineer. However, one disadvantage of the round type is that it is run normally is the same area as the vacuumed dust and dirt, which only means that all of the dirt and particles will go around the belt and in the process wear and damage it.

Vacuum cleaners belts, whether for the floor or the backpack vacuum cleaners, need to stretch, which means more stress and pressure on the motor bearings and the roller. While the round type is still in use, the more common type is the flat one, which run in circular motion unlike the twisted motion that the round type does.
